📋 Description

• You will join the team responsible for reporting and drafting the Madrid Playbook each weekday morning.

• Utilizing your news judgment, fact-checking abilities, and writing skills, you will gather and synthesize information across various domains of Spanish politics and policy.

• You will create exclusive scoops and original story concepts.

• You will consistently cultivate deep sourcing and exhibit the exceptional judgment necessary to launch this product and POLITICO in the Spanish market.

• You are a politics enthusiast with a proven interest in politics and policy, especially pertaining to Spain.

• You are adaptable to flexible working hours, particularly a late schedule and Sundays, to deliver the best possible morning newsletter.

• You possess a strong ambition to create well-researched, non-partisan journalism aimed at insiders.

• You are a concise and quick writer with a light tone that makes the newsletter enjoyable to read first thing in the morning.

• You have a strong command of Spanish and can effectively engage with English-speaking colleagues.
