Platform Engineer – Tech Foundations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• You will engage in high-impact and high-risk projects that involve collaboration with multiple engineers.

• Your role will include designing and executing robust infrastructure systems with an emphasis on reliability and observability.

• You will ensure we meet our uptime targets while also optimizing infrastructure costs.

• Enhancing our incident management processes and leading post-mortem analyses will be part of your responsibilities.

• You will create and maintain internal tools (such as APIs, web interfaces, and internal command lines) for use by fellow engineers.

• You will have the chance to mentor other engineers and lead teams (more information available in this article).

• You will play a role in the hiring process for your future colleagues, helping to shape candidates’ experiences and improving our technical assessment process.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

• You have experience with monitoring, alerting, and observability tools.

• You are comfortable writing code for automation and tooling (such as APIs and internal command lines).

• You have some experience working as a Full-Stack or Backend software engineer.

• You are willing to work with Python/JavaScript (prior experience with these languages is not required).

• You have an understanding of modern deployment practices and CI/CD methodologies.

• You are capable of debugging complex system issues.

• You are self-motivated and entrepreneurial in your approach.

• You are humble and eager to grow, regardless of your current seniority level.

• You are collaborative and enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching.

• You are fluent in English (no need for French!). For this position, we are looking to hire candidates at or above the C1 level.
