Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Harness.

• Configure and oversee Harness modules, including CI, CD, AR, SCS, STO, IDP, SEI, and FME.

• Establish platform standards, templates, and optimal paths.

• Integrate security testing and supply chain security measures into pipelines.

• Support strategies for artifact management and versioning.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to onboard applications onto standardized CI/CD frameworks.

• Monitor platform health and performance through engineering intelligence tools.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at automation and reliability.

• Document platform architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures.

• Engage in incident response and root cause analysis for platform-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.

• Practical experience with CI/CD platforms, preferably Harness.

• Experience in integrating SAST/SCA and security scanning tools into pipelines.

• Experience in supporting cloud-native platforms, with AWS preferred.

• Familiarity with microservices architectures.

• Strong skills in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, or similar).

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Experience operating Harness modules across multiple teams.

• Experience in building or supporting an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).

• Experience in healthcare IT or regulated environments.

• Familiarity with platform engineering concepts.
