Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create and implement tools and technologies for provisioning and configuring an enterprise software system hosted on Kubernetes.

• Develop and execute architectural and networking solutions within the Azure environment.

• Automate and script current processes using programming languages like Python and Bash.

• Provision, configure, and maintain cloud resources utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Continuously monitor the application environment and address incidents promptly.

• Perform root cause analysis for incidents occurring in production.

• Manage cloud infrastructure and suggest potential enhancements to technology or processes.

• Actively participate in team planning to address engineering challenges.

• Serve as a reliable and highly skilled development resource for colleagues through education and review.

• Maintain a broad understanding of related projects and industry trends, fostering innovative practices among peers.

• Offer detailed feedback and recommendations during team code reviews.

• Document and showcase solutions through written documentation, diagrams, and clear code.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with Kubernetes Container Orchestration and Docker.

• More than 3 years of experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Proficient in system monitoring and alerting, with data-driven system enhancements using DataDog and/or Grafana for over 3 years.

• Experience in supporting, configuring, and deploying RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch for at least 3 years.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Harness for a minimum of 3 years.

• Over 3 years of experience in supporting customer-facing web-delivered software.

• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems.

• Proficient in Bash and Python programming.

• Excellent communication skills in English.
