Platform Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain end-to-end inference time monitoring (globally and for individual models).

• Analyze the effects of implementation changes on overall request latency.

• Identify regressions caused by inefficient code paths.

• Deliver automated notifications and historical data trends.

• Create internal dashboards for use by engineering, product, and leadership teams.

• Produce client-facing usage dashboards detailing requests, errors, success rates, and performance.

• Assist clients who require visibility to troubleshoot their integrations.

• Monitor usage at the model level, API endpoint usage, and adoption metrics.

• Implement metrics, logs, and traces to ensure smooth scaling of the entire platform.

• Collaborate closely with DevOps and backend teams to enhance system observability.

• Provide insights that inform infrastructure decisions (GPU allocation, autoscaling, caching, batching, etc.).

• Choose and manage tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, ELK, BigQuery, etc.).

• Ensure data pipelines are dependable, accessible, and consistently updated.

• Design intuitive and visually appealing dashboards for both technical and non-technical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in data analytics, observability, or monitoring.

• Proficient with metrics, logging, and tracing frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, etc.).

• Solid understanding of backend systems and distributed architectures.

• Capability to convert raw metrics into actionable insights.

• Experience in building dashboards for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Knowledge of AI model monitoring (latency, throughput, error codes, GPU utilization).
