This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Create and enhance scalable, high-performance system architectures.

• Specify system interactions involving microservices, APIs, and external integrations.

• Drive architectural decisions and offer technical guidance to engineering teams.

• Maintain performance, reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance across systems.

• Recognize architectural bottlenecks and formulate long-term solutions.

• Partner with engineering, DevOps, and product teams on system design.

• Establish engineering standards, system patterns, and best practices.

• Solid background in backend engineering and system architecture.

• Extensive experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.

• In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.

• Familiarity with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).

• Proficient in database design (SQL and NoSQL systems).

• Expertise in system scalability, caching strategies, and load balancing.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).

• Experience in designing high-availability, fault-tolerant systems.

• Strong comprehension of CI/CD and contemporary DevOps practices.
