This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Directs the analysis and validation of system requirements utilizing established industry methodologies, ensuring that requirements are thorough, consistent, traceable, feasible, and adhere to standards.
• Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of the business processes, capabilities, and services supported by the platform, applying this expertise to guide the definition of requirements, solution design, and prioritization while collaborating with product stakeholders and revenue partners.
• Establishes, documents, implements, and continuously enhances processes for system planning, requirements definition, and release planning.
• Collaborates with customers, project managers, and revenue stakeholders to comprehend needs and present solutions that align with both business and technical objectives.
• Outlines system and solution strategies based on experience, sound judgment, and innovative problem-solving.
• Provides estimates for system development efforts and costs to support ROI analysis and resource planning.
• Generates and maintains documentation for initiative systems as well as platform systems.
• Works alongside engineering teams to create user stories, use cases, and delivery plans.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation for use by engineering and operations teams.
• Continuously enhances understanding of business processes, platform capabilities, and supported services to elevate solution quality, decision-making, and stakeholder outcomes.
• Diagnoses and resolves issues in existing systems to enhance reliability and performance.
• Provides work breakdowns, schedules, and coordination for assigned initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Generally requires at least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Capacity to teach and mentor fellow software engineers.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including Agile / Lean or Kanban methodologies.
• Proficient in Amazon Q/Kiro, Python, .NET, C#, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in developing system workflows and documentation.
• Experience in cloud development with Azure or AWS is a bonus.
