Planning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop the project's physical schedule.

• Generate reports detailing the project's physical progress to assist the project manager (PM), and outline milestones to be achieved in the short, medium, and long term.

• Engage in meetings and workshops to establish and oversee the physical schedule, utilizing the specified planning and control tool.

• Implement the Company’s established schedule and risk management standards.

• Contribute to qualitative risk analysis and quantitative schedule and cost analysis workshops.

• Provide probabilistic forecasts for milestone achievements based on quantitative schedule and cost evaluations.

• Utilize the corporate system to document risks and response strategies.

• Monitor the owners of identified risks regarding the action plans recorded in the corporate system, which includes analysis, control, coordination with stakeholders, addressing outstanding items, and plans for backlog resolution, while periodically updating the project manager.

• Undertake additional tasks of similar complexity and scope.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in MS Project.

• Intermediate understanding of Primavera Risk Analysis.

• Basic knowledge of Primavera P6.

• Strong logical reasoning and analytical capabilities.

• Proactive attitude with a focus on solutions.

• Advanced or fluent proficiency in English.

• Negotiation skills and the ability to engage effectively with team members and external stakeholders.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Four (4) years of experience in roles similar to the scope of services, subject to approval by contract oversight.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with active registration in the relevant professional council.
