This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Deliver in-person coverage for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other relevant proceedings as required.
β’ Support plaintiff-side employment law cases, including issues related to wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes.
β’ Perform legal research and compose motions, pleadings, and various employment law documents.
β’ Examine case files and assist in formulating case strategies.
β’ Provide essential back-end litigation support to facilitate the efficient progression of cases.
β’ Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff on ongoing employment litigation matters.
β’ Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Ohio.
β’ Located in close proximity to Canton, Ohio (candidates from the Cleveland and Columbus areas will also be considered).
β’ A minimum of 5+ years of experience in plaintiff-side employment law.
β’ Proficient in managing both in-person coverage and back-end legal support tasks.
β’ Experience dealing with wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and other employment-related claims.
β’ Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical capabilities.
β’ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of adhering to deadlines.
