Placement Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate submissions for completeness, accuracy, and readiness for carrier processing.

• Identify any missing or ambiguous information and collaborate with the sales team to address discrepancies.

• Ensure submissions adhere to internal quality benchmarks and carrier specifications.

• Assist in marketing accounts to carriers in alignment with the placement strategy.

• Leverage online rating platforms from carriers to facilitate quoting.

• Support pricing evaluations, coverage comparisons, and fundamental analyses.

• Monitor carrier responses and manage follow-up actions.

• Submit approved accounts to carriers and track their progress.

• Keep precise status updates within the Caffeine system.

• Aid in the preparation of bind orders and placement documentation.

• Maintain accurate records in agency management systems.

• Interact professionally with sales personnel, placement team members, carriers, and brokers.

• Escalate any coverage or market issues as necessary.

• Execute other similar duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

• 2–4 years of experience in commercial insurance placement is preferred.

• A current P&C Producer License is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with P&C insurance coverages is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail along with a sense of ownership over one's work.

• Capability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

• Proficiency in using Excel and other software applications.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
