PIP/Med Pay Claims Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations and verify the details of losses related to basic automobile accidents.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages related to claims.

• Adjust and negotiate claims within the designated limits of authority.

• Utilize knowledge of company and industry insurance policies.

• Examine auto claims concerning coverage, liability, and damages with limited discretion.

• Review, assess, and negotiate basic injury claims when applicable.

• Recognize vehicle body components and evaluate potential property damage.

• Identify customer needs and respond effectively using suitable customer service techniques.

• Assess the potential for subrogation or fraud and determine the appropriate handling methods.

• Detail-oriented individual.

• Fundamental understanding of insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational dynamics.

• Capability to investigate auto claims, including coverage, liability, and damages.

• Proficiency in reviewing, evaluating, and negotiating basic injury claims when applicable.

• Knowledge of vehicle body parts and potential property damage assessments.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Ability to identify potential subrogation or fraud cases.

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

• Experience in case management, claims administration, claims resolution, and claims review.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.

• For remote work: a dedicated and private workspace devoid of distractions.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.
