
Pilot Instructor – Homeland Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead comprehensive classroom sessions and flight simulator exercises that emphasize standard maneuvers, tactical flight operations, and emergency situations.
• Evaluate and validate pilot proficiency in Crew Resource Management (CRM), Risk Management, and adherence to instrument flight rules.
• Develop realistic training scenarios, revise cockpit checklists, and design theoretical assessments.
• Oversee tracking of pilot-in-command (PIC) and second-in-command (SIC) events to ensure compliance with all training requirements.
• Administer, assess, and upload completed pilot quizzes and examinations directly to the secure tracking and reporting system.
• A minimum of 3 years of recent experience as an Instructor Pilot on the P-3 Orion aircraft (within the last 2 years).
• FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), or military equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations, P-3 flight characteristics, and mission-related equipment.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a federal background suitability check.
