Pilot, Freelance/Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide support for Drone Services operations throughout Germany and Europe on a freelance basis.

• Take charge of intricate missions and assist in operational planning.

• Ensure the safe execution of advanced drone operations in diverse environments.

• Operate state-of-the-art drone platforms for logistics, inspections, surveillance, emergency response, and maritime operations.

• Perform drone deliveries to offshore assets and aid in critical infrastructure inspections.

• Contribute to mission planning, operational documentation, risk assessments, training activities, and regulatory compliance remotely.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Remote Pilot with appropriate EU drone qualifications and permissions.

• Demonstrated experience in commercial, defence, public safety, or industrial drone operations.

• Proven BVLOS operational experience is highly desirable.

• Strong comprehension of drone systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational planning.

• Experience in developing Concept of Operations (ConOps), risk assessments, and operational procedures.

• Excellent knowledge of aviation safety principles and regulatory compliance standards.

• Ability to work independently and represent Skyports professionally with clients and stakeholders.

• Strong communication and reporting abilities.

• Willingness to travel extensively within Germany and internationally as needed.

• Fluent in German and proficient in English preferred.
