This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop sophisticated physics problems for the training and assessment of cutting-edge AI systems.
• Construct deterministic problems that yield a single correct solution.
• Compose comprehensive, validated solutions while thoroughly documenting the reasoning behind them.
• Create problems that evaluate profound physical reasoning and multi-step analysis rather than mere memorization.
• When applicable, utilize Python or specialized tools to construct simulations, models, or computational workflows.
• Ensure that all outputs are technically accurate, reproducible, and well-articulated in English.
• A Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in Physics or a closely related discipline.
• Significant research or industry experience in theoretical, experimental, or computational physics.
• Proficient in Python, with familiarity in scientific libraries such as numpy, scipy, or similar.
• A strong grasp of modeling, simulation, numerical methods, and complex problem-solving techniques.
• Capability to design original, challenging problems that accurately reflect real physics workflows.
• Exceptional attention to detail and technical writing proficiency in English.
• Experience with simulation tools or domain-specific physics software (e.g., finite element analysis tools, circuit simulators, symbolic computation systems).
• Background in areas such as computational physics, statistical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, or related domains.
• Experience in evaluating model reasoning, benchmarking, or designing technical assessments.
