This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Provide top-notch, patient-focused, virtual-first primary care to individuals throughout the United States.
• Perform thorough virtual assessments, diagnoses, and create evidence-based treatment plans for patients of diverse ages and backgrounds.
• Oversee and coordinate the management of chronic health conditions.
• Deliver preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to foster comprehensive well-being.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
• Prescribe medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage referrals and prior authorizations.
• Execute administrative responsibilities, including documenting tasks and communications within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Complete compliance, continuing medical education (CME), and licensing tasks punctually.
• Keep clinical knowledge and processes current.
• Engage in clinical quality and process enhancement initiatives.
• Strive to meet or surpass established performance metrics concerning patient satisfaction, documentation accuracy, response times, clinical quality measures, and productivity benchmarks.
• Act as a collaborating physician for designated Nurse Practitioners.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• An MD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.
• A valid, unrestricted medical license with active board certification in Family Medicine.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience following residency; experience in telehealth is highly preferred.
• Active medical licenses in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, or FL, along with 5 additional state licenses.
• Strong preference for eligibility for expedited licensure via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states.
• Openness to obtaining additional state licenses as necessary.
• Availability to work weekends and designated holidays as part of your regular schedule.
• Solid understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements associated with physician collaboration and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers.
• Capacity to work autonomously while managing a high volume of patient interactions through video and chat.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and EMR systems, with a capacity to adapt to evolving technologies, including AI-driven tools and digital platforms.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail, along with effective time management skills in a remote work setting; reliable high-speed internet access is essential.
• Exceptional communication, clinical judgment, and patient engagement skills.
