This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Become an expert in QGenda software to enhance its usage and functionality.
• Coordinate both daily and long-term physician scheduling for assigned practices.
• Manage requests and swaps from radiologists in an organized and timely manner.
• Ensure that the necessary skill sets and coverage are in place to meet daily service needs.
• Update and sustain scheduling rules to maximize automation and efficiency.
• Maintain a repository of scheduling rules to ensure consistency and continuity.
• Provide schedule access to all pertinent internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee the addition and removal of radiologists from schedules as staffing changes arise.
• Communicate schedule adjustments promptly and clearly to both radiologists and clients.
• Conduct training sessions and develop communications for effective use of QGenda in scheduling, shift coverage, conference attendance, and duty assignments.
• Generate reports to ensure fair distribution of shifts and responsibilities among radiologists.
• Offer regular and responsive communication regarding scheduling issues, changes, and updates.
• Prepare monthly reports for each physician, detailing shifts worked, shifts off, extra shifts, additional compensation, and comp day accruals, along with ad hoc reports as necessary.
• Collaborate consistently with practice management to align on staffing requirements, operational modifications, and long-term objectives.
• Produce monthly payroll reports to ensure accurate physician compensation.
• Experience with QGenda scheduling software is preferred (training is available for those without experience).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at managing both proactive and responsive communications.
• Confident computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a challenging office or administrative setting.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in managing physician schedules.
• Prior experience or background in a healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
