Physician Reviewer – Orthopedic Surgery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Evaluate medical records to assess the necessity of medical services.

• Apply state-specific workers’ compensation regulations along with nationally acknowledged criteria.

• Provide clear, concise, and well-supported conclusions.

• Finalize reviews within specified timeframes (generally 1–5 business days).

• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions as required (organized by Dane Street).

• Prepare addenda when additional information is received.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.

• Valid, unrestricted medical license in New York.

• Certification from the Workers’ Compensation Board (New York).

• Active involvement in clinical practice.
