This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide array of psychiatric disorders utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Prescribe medications and administer appropriate psychotherapeutic interventions.
• Oversee a designated patient panel according to clinical acuity and suitable follow-up schedules.
• Present complex cases to seasoned subspecialty psychiatrists for expert consultation.
• Collaborate with the clinical pharmacist on intricate medication inquiries.
• Work in coordination with primary care providers, therapists, educational institutions, and families as necessary.
• Engage in interdisciplinary treatment planning discussions.
• Accurately document encounters in Healthie with the assistance of Nabla AI documentation.
• Finalize documentation within 48 hours following each appointment.
• Adhere to clinic policies, prescribing protocols, and state and federal regulatory standards.
• Remain updated on advancements in psychiatric care.
• Join weekly Provider Rounds and monthly All-Staff meetings during the work week.
• Utilize the CME benefit and disseminate relevant knowledge with the team.
• Valid NCCPA certification.
• Alaska PA license or eligibility for obtaining one prior to the start date.
• Clinical experience in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders.
• Home office setup that supports private and reliable telehealth consultations.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Must be a resident of the state of Alaska.
• W-2 employment status.
• Experience with rural or underserved populations is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Experience with children and adolescents is advantageous but not essential.
• Prior experience in prescribing Buprenorphine is beneficial but not required.
