Physical Security System Designer II – Revit/CAD Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive physical security design drawings using Revit.

• Manage multiple routine and moderately complex projects concurrently.

• Assist engineers and take the lead on projects involving drafting and modeling of security floor layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, and access control board layout drawings.

• Engage in the quality control process by reviewing drawings and assessing the necessity for design modifications; provide suitable recommendations.

• Ensure that the production of drawings aligns with project scope, timeline, and quality standards.

• Operate within the project budget and schedule to deliver designs in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Maintain thorough and organized project files and documentation.

• Collaborate closely with the Engineer and Project Manager throughout the design phase to project closeout.

• Mentor and guide System Designer I team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Revit experience in a professional setting is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in system design or security technology is necessary.

• An associate degree, Autodesk Certified Professional status in Revit for Electrical Design, or equivalent work experience is required.

• Experience in electronic security with vendor-specific knowledge (such as Lenel, Software House CCure 9000, DMP, Milestone, etc.) is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software is essential.

• Familiarity with Bluebeam is preferred; knowledge of Navisworks and Dynamo is considered a plus.

• Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail and quality of work.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.

• A tech-savvy individual with a curiosity for new technologies and a proven ability to integrate new systems into daily tasks.
