Physical Security Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and installation of security projects across North America.

• Oversee all facets of the project from initial engagement to completion, managing multiple projects and scopes of work.

• Define project timelines, scope parameters, and supervise the design and implementation of security measures according to client specifications and standards.

• Manage preliminary project initiation tasks and develop the security project scope, schedule, critical deliverables, and requirements.

• Coordinate scheduling, tracking, and status updates for essential project tasks, issues, and deliverables.

• Prepare, distribute, and oversee Request for Proposal (RFP) documents related to security systems installation scope.

• Assess RFP submissions and generate evaluation reports, including evaluation criteria, scoring, and recommendations.

• Conduct security site assessments of potential client properties and review proposed design solutions.

• Collaborate with clients and user group stakeholders to establish use cases, confirm functional requirements, and develop a security functional specification for the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience, ideally in consulting with external clients on complex, fast-paced data center projects.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Familiarity with low-voltage and physical security technologies and design principles.

• Highly skilled in using Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with Studio and Bluebeam is advantageous.

• Competency in project management tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and QuickBase.

• Proven ability to effectively communicate and present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

• Demonstrated capacity to identify critical path activities, prioritize tasks and deliverables, and achieve consistent progress.
