PHP Laravel Developer – 2+ years

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, document, and sustain advanced web-based PHP applications.

• Ensure the validity and consistency of HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript across all applications.

• Create independent API-driven web services.

• Prepare and sustain all applications using standard development tools.

• Leverage backend data services and contribute to the enhancement of existing data services APIs.

• Communicate effectively regarding task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, as well as technical and process-related issues.

• Document the development procedures, architecture, and standard components.

• Demonstrate the ability to design and implement scalable, innovative concepts independently and collaboratively.

• Collaborate with co-developers and keep the project manager updated on the status of development efforts.

• Stay informed about new trends and best practices in web development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience with PHP Laravel 5.5.

• Strong knowledge of PHP-based MVC frameworks such as Laravel (required).

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) in Laravel; unit testing using PHPUnit and/or PHPSpec (prioritizing unit testing and testing-driven practices).

• Proficient in MySQL and MongoDB databases.

• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.

• Must possess expertise in developing RESTful APIs.

• Design the overall architecture of the web application and API.

• Open to new solutions, forward-thinking, and adaptable.

• Quick learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Solid understanding of version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket.

• Skilled in efficiently utilizing Git branches for features and issues.

• Capable of solving complex performance issues and architectural challenges.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Develop efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
