PHP Developer, DDD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Designing, developing, testing, documenting, launching, and maintaining software from the ground up.

• Improving and enhancing our current API and backend systems.

• Integrating third-party solutions to expand our payment ecosystem, including acquirers, gateways, alternative payment methods, token platforms, customer operation verification/scoring/monitoring systems, reporting, and more.

• Conducting tests to ensure functionality and establishing a testing environment for validating new features.

• Resolving existing bugs and debugging the software that has been developed.

• Preparing essential technical documentation.

• Providing support for the software deployed in production.

• Collaborating with front-end developers and other team members to accomplish all tasks efficiently.

• This position focuses on enhancing our products and addressing challenges, so we seek someone with outstanding troubleshooting abilities and a passion for innovative and unconventional solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with best practices for optimizing PHP code and web products, including caching and asynchrony, along with knowledge of large-scale project development and support.

• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• In-depth knowledge of Symfony, with proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and using Doctrine ORM.

• Expertise in Relational Database Management, specifically PostgreSQL, with skills in optimizing complex SQL queries for performance using techniques such as query rewriting, indexing strategies, and query execution plans.

• Skilled in designing database schemas, encompassing normalization techniques, entity-relationship modeling, and schema design best practices.

• Comprehension of Kubernetes and Docker, including components like Docker Engine, Docker Hub, and Docker Swarm.

• Strong grasp of SOLID and GRASP principles, along with a comprehensive understanding of various design patterns, their motivations, structures, and implementations.

• Familiarity with advanced Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts, like Domain Events, Domain Services, and Bounded Contexts, as well as the ability to design domain models for complex business challenges and apply them to real-world problems.

• Understanding of Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) principles and advantages, including asynchronous command processing and data synchronization between read and write models, with experience utilizing design and architectural patterns to implement effective CQRS architectures.

• Knowledge of professional architectural design practices, with experience in designing and developing complex large systems using architectural templates and patterns, and the ability to define and document architectural solutions while addressing system complexity and scalability issues.

• Advanced understanding of PHP integration test automation tools and libraries such as PHPUnit, Codeception, and Behat, with the capability to design and structure integration tests for large complex systems comprising numerous interacting components, along with knowledge of establishing test environments and managing dependencies for effective integration testing.

• Advanced familiarity with the development and deployment processes for systems based on Event Sourcing, including the ability to architect applications using Event Sourcing while considering capacity and scalability requirements.

• Advanced knowledge of microservices design and deployment processes, encompassing configuration management, monitoring, and logging.

• In-depth understanding of Jenkins functionality, including advanced configuration options such as parameterization, plugins, and additional tools.
