This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Handles telephone inquiries from providers regarding subscriber verification, benefit eligibility, plan maximums, prior approval requirements, and claim inquiries.
• Confirms claims using online adjudication systems.
• Proposes methods to enhance workflows and processes.
• Records and transmits provider feedback to the relevant Team Manager and/or Manager.
• Assists with various projects and analyses utilizing Excel, Word, and other software applications.
• Logs the details of calls.
• Supports additional duties as needed.
• Proficient in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel).
• A background in medical, dental, or pharmacy fields and knowledge of dental procedures, health procedures, or drug names is advantageous.
• Demonstrated customer service experience, whether in person or via phone.
• A strong commitment to a career as a call centre representative is essential.
