Pharmacy Benefit & Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Accountable for aiding the Pharmacy Department's daily operations to ensure the benefits and compliance of all products and business lines.

• Delivers expert knowledge concerning analysis, implementation, and enhancement activities in support of the Pharmacy Department.

• Develops and sustains reports for business operations and special initiatives as they relate to operational processes.

• Leverages expertise in various applications, databases, information systems, statistical tools, and analytical methodologies to oversee and assess information in support of the business.

• Aids in the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems.

• Works collaboratively with teams within the Pharmacy Department, Senior Pharmacy Benefit & Compliance Specialists, and internal Pharmacy teams to guarantee compliance and benefit configuration requirements are met.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent REQUIRED.

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Managed Care REQUIRED.

• At least 1 year of experience in Compliance is highly preferred.

• Experience in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) systems is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is preferred.

• SQL experience is a plus.
