This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Perform clinical checks on prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency using Montu's online pharmacy platform.
• Ensure that prescriptions are assessed and processed within the established SLAs and turnaround times.
• Maintain a consistent volume of checks while prioritizing clinical accuracy and patient safety.
• Identify prescriptions that fail the clinical check and take the necessary actions.
• Document details regarding interventions, rejected prescriptions, reasons for rejection, and actions taken.
• Collaborate remotely with pharmacy and clinical colleagues to address prescription queries and discrepancies.
• Escalate clinical or operational issues through the appropriate channels.
• Recognize recurring problems, bottlenecks, or gaps in processes and communicate them to the relevant teams.
• Assist in resolving issues promptly to minimize delays for patients.
• Adhere to Montu's SOPs, policies, clinical governance framework, and professional standards.
• Adapt to changing systems, processes, and workflows.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for process enhancement as the pharmacy grows.
• Must be a qualified Pharmacist registered with the GPhC.
• Strong clinical judgment paired with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work confidently and independently in a fully remote setting.
• Comfort in operating within a high-volume pharmacy environment.
• Capability to meet defined targets, SLAs, and performance metrics.
• Proficient in using digital pharmacy systems and technology.
• Excellent communication skills and effective collaboration in a remote context.
• Ability to identify and proactively address problems.
• Quick adaptability to changes in processes, systems, and work methods.
• Understanding of quality and patient safety while maintaining efficiency.
• Experience in a digital, online, high-volume, or specialized pharmacy setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A suitable home-working environment that ensures effective, confidential, and uninterrupted work during contracted hours.
