Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• In the role of Litigation Paralegal at Parnall Law, you will play a critical role supporting our attorneys — facilitating the progress of cases with accuracy, empathy, and intent.

• Your skills in organization and focus on client needs will significantly influence outcomes for individuals during some of their most challenging times.

• Participate in a weekly firm-wide meeting every Monday morning at 8:00.

• Join daily team mini huddles from Tuesday to Thursday at 8:00 am.

• Attend weekly calendar meetings on Fridays at 8:00 am.

• Ensure status comments are recorded before the weekly meeting with the Operations Manager and Leads.

• Engage in biweekly meetings with the Team Lead to review personal metrics and objectives.

• Draft and submit complaints within 30 days of a case being assigned to LIT 00.

• Initiate service of process within 15 days of filing the complaint.

• Complete service of process within 30 days of sending out the service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal — active litigation stage experience is essential; candidates with pre-litigation backgrounds will not be considered.

• Strong understanding of state, local, and federal court regulations.

• Proficient in e-filing, legal documentation, and litigation management software.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Highly organized with excellent time-management skills.

• Genuine compassion for injured clients and a client-first approach.

• Professional demeanor coupled with the confidence to surpass expectations.

• A collaborative attitude with a desire to mentor and inspire team members.

• Willingness to travel should a case go to trial.

• Ability to work during Mountain Time business hours (Mon–Thu 8–5, Fri 8–4).

• Capability to pass a background check.

• A proven history of long-term success and advancement in previous positions is a significant advantage.
