Personal Emergency Response Associate – On Call

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Answer incoming calls and alarms by assessing the type of assistance needed and coordinating prompt and appropriate support.

• Ensure that all interactions with customers are conducted in a courteous and professional manner, resulting in a high standard of customer service.

• Acquire requested changes to Subscriber information and verify that updates are accurately reflected in the relevant data management system.

• Carry out off-phone responsibilities as necessary, including managing call back queues, in alignment with established protocols.

• Diagnose maintenance alarms, when relevant, and address home communicator issues to help guarantee the Subscriber’s service remains operational and uninterrupted.

• Achieve departmental benchmarks for after-call tasks, average handle time, and case quality.

• Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.

• Ensure all mandatory training is completed within the designated timeframes.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; proof of GED is necessary.

• Experience in a call center or customer service environment.

• Possess a professional and courteous telephone demeanor.

• Fluent in English with outstanding verbal communication abilities.

• Competent in computer skills and Microsoft Windows, including the capability to navigate multiple systems.

• Strong compassion and empathy for elderly and medically vulnerable individuals is highly valued.

• Ability to manage routine and repetitive tasks at varying speeds.

• Capability to remain composed in high-stress situations.

• Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings, including background checks, drug tests, CORI checks, and fingerprinting.

• For remote roles, a professional work environment is required, which includes a quiet, distraction-free workspace, a private area to maintain confidentiality and security when managing sensitive information, and dependable internet access.
