Personal Care Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for patients throughout their medication experience.

• Assist patients with reimbursement processes, copay management, and pharmacy coordination.

• Collect information and educate patients on program services, injection training, pharmacy options, and coverage assistance.

• Manage prescription coverage and renewals with pharmacies, insurance providers, and other collaborators.

• Address challenges to ensure prompt access to medications.

• Work closely with Field Case Managers and the wider care network.

• Tailor services for clinic and pharmacy models, connecting with preferred pharmacy teams and biologic coordinators.

• Anticipate difficulties, resolve issues, and provide customized guidance to patients.

• Oversee adverse event reporting.

• Execute additional program support and miscellaneous duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset and mandatory for the province of Quebec.

• Experience in a customer service environment.

• A post-secondary education certificate, diploma, or degree is preferred.

• Background in reimbursement, call centers, the pharmaceutical industry, health insurance, or clinical support is advantageous.

• Familiarity with medical information, CRM systems (Salesforce), and pharmacy operations is preferred.

• Outstanding customer service abilities and phone etiquette.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Excellent time management and a sense of urgency.

• Capability to collaborate effectively and work independently in a remote home office setting.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English and French for Quebec/New Brunswick.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adapt to change and uncertainty.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with technology.
