Performance Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, maintain, and support frameworks for performance testing and data generation.

• Create and update technical documentation, architectural decision records, and performance standards.

• Establish and refine best practices for optimizing performance, scalability, and measurement.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop performance testing strategies and scalability methods.

• Work with teams to identify performance bottlenecks and facilitate the identification and resolution of solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant work experience.

• Over 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, including at least 2 years with K6 or similar load testing frameworks, and Javascript.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cloud Native Environments, specifically AWS.

• Strong foundation in design, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.

• Extensive knowledge of distributed computing systems and container-native environments.

• Skilled in scripting for automation and observability using Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.

• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Familiarity with relational databases; experience with PostgreSQL will enhance your qualifications within our tech stack.
