This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Develop the continuous performance management framework, incorporating a monthly grade refresh and personalized dashboards.
• Establish the three dimensions (results / skills and AI utilization / collaboration), including their weights, scales, and the criteria for transitioning between A, B, and C.
• Outline the data sources for each dimension, aiming to reduce manual data entry.
• Design the monthly cycle: automation, manager verification, and the manner in which individuals access their grades.
• Generate dashboards for individual evaluations, managerial oversight, and insights for C-level executives.
• Create action plans for B and C players with quantifiable performance improvement metrics.
• Conduct a pilot test on two competencies, refine processes based on feedback, and roll out to the entire team.
• You have experience in developing performance systems for teams ranging from 30 to 150 individuals, preferably within product startups at late Seed or Series A stages.
• You are familiar with the distinctions between performance management in a traditional corporate setting and within a small team. If your experience is solely with Fortune 500 companies, this role may not be suitable.
• You possess a strong comfort level with data. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Notion API at a level that allows you to create prototypes independently rather than relying on an analyst is essential.
• Experience in constructing grading systems, conducting talent reviews, and utilizing the 9-box model or similar methods is advantageous. Additionally, having a background in transforming a manual Excel process into an automated system is a significant plus.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Russian is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Compensation: a fixed project fee along with a bonus linked to the successful completion of the project (v1 live and an adoption rate of 80% or greater one month post-launch). The specific amount will be discussed during the call, with the benchmark reflecting the market rate for senior People Ops consultants.
• Structure: work trial. The initial 2 weeks will serve as a paid pilot focusing on one competency. If the collaboration is successful, we will proceed to the full project scope.
• Contract type: B2B or equivalent, depending on your location.
