This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Conduct virtual consultation and evaluation sessions with children and their families, utilizing clinical judgment to assess the need for ongoing assistance.

β€’ Perform a comprehensive review of medical histories, developmental issues, and the objectives for seeking support.

β€’ Create clinically sound, individualized care plans and suggest therapy frequencies (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly).

β€’ Facilitate therapy sessions with the child and their caregiver(s).

β€’ Clearly communicate with caregivers and provide education on activities and exercises to enable them to assist their child at home.

β€’ Keep patient records current, including appointment summaries, progress tracking, and other necessary documentation.

β€’ Leverage the platform to recommend exercises and activities that caregivers can implement between appointments to achieve therapy goals.

β€’ Contribute to the enhancement of the platform by reviewing the developmental screener and its associated escalation logic, expanding the library of exercises, and other improvements.

β€’ Respond to inquiries via the messaging portal on a scheduled basis.

β€’ Collaborate with other clinicians to ensure that children and their families receive comprehensive care.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A self-driven pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably with telehealth experience.

β€’ Proven experience working with children (ages 0-6) and their caregivers.

β€’ Knowledgeable about evidence-based practices and enthusiastic about leveraging technology to enhance care delivery.

β€’ Committed to caregiver-guided interventions, strengths-based approaches, and play-based therapy, recognizing the positive impact of early intervention support on children.

β€’ Flexible schedule to accommodate convenient appointment times for busy families (e.g., availability in early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends).

β€’ A valid license to practice in North Carolina is required.

β€’ Bilingual capabilities are valued.
