People Experience Officer – People Helpdesk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Address employee inquiries through the helpdesk system, ensuring responses are professional, precise, and timely.

• Assess incoming queries and direct them to Payroll, HR Admin, Lifecycle, Talent Acquisition, or HRIS teams as necessary for escalation.

• Keep current knowledge of People policies, processes, and systems to offer consistent and dependable guidance.

• Revise and maintain helpdesk FAQs, scripts, and response templates to enhance clarity and minimize repetitive questions.

• Monitor and document all helpdesk interactions, ensuring data integrity for reporting and trend analysis purposes.

• Recognize recurring issues or trends and notify the Lead, People Helpdesk for potential process or documentation enhancements.

• Assist new employees by guiding them through People systems, documentation, and policy-related inquiries during their onboarding phase.

• Help keep documentation and knowledge base content updated so employees can access self-service options where applicable.

• Ensure that all interactions maintain confidentiality and adhere to internal governance standards.

• Provide general administrative assistance to People Experience during busy periods.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in HR support, customer service, or a People Experience role.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill information for employees.

• Proficient in using helpdesk or ticketing systems and HR platforms.

• Strong organizational abilities and confidence in managing multiple queries simultaneously.

• Basic knowledge of HR processes and employee lifecycle phases.

• Experience providing support in a fast-paced or multi-national organization.

• Familiarity with HRIS tools, internal knowledge bases, or digital service platforms.

• A keen interest in People Experience, service delivery, and process enhancement.
