Penetration Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will identify genuine attack paths within intricate IT environments and effectively demonstrate to organizations how vulnerabilities can be exploited and sustainably addressed.

• You will plan and execute advanced penetration tests across infrastructure, web, and cloud environments, crafting custom attack scenarios that extend beyond standard assessments.

• You will develop, adapt, and implement exploit techniques, attack paths, and tailored attack scenarios.

• You will create high-quality technical penetration test reports along with succinct management summaries.

• You will present findings during technical deep dives and management closing meetings.

• You will closely coordinate with clients throughout the testing, reporting, and remediation phases.

• You will develop scripts and tools aimed at automating and enhancing the efficiency of testing processes.

• You will contribute to cutting-edge topics in AI security, both by employing AI-assisted testing methods and by conducting security analyses of AI/ML systems and their attack scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in penetration testing and offensive security.

• Strong knowledge in at least one area: infrastructure, web, or cloud security, with a willingness to master additional attack surfaces.

• Experience in the structured analysis of complex IT environments, identifying vulnerabilities that can realistically be exploited.

• Proficient in using common penetration testing tools, frameworks, and scripting technologies.

• Possess analytical thinking, a meticulous working style, and a robust hands-on problem-solving approach.

• High self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for new attack techniques and security research.

• Ability to clearly document technical matters and communicate them effectively to both technical and management audiences.

• Excellent German language skills and readiness to undergo a security check (SÜ2-capable).
