Peer/Record Review Quality Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the various elements of the medical file review process

• Assessing the completed referral to confirm that client inquiries have been adequately addressed

• Evaluating the finished report for precision

• Ensuring that both client and departmental standards are met

• Conducting quality audits

• Following up with reviewers for any additional inquiries or clarifications required

• Contacting clients in the event of any further questions

• Regularly updating clients on the status of their referrals

• Verifying that the report is free from grammatical errors and spelling mistakes

• Ensuring each referral complies with the QA checklist before finalization

• Formatting reports for approval

• Effectively communicating between the customer, reviewer, and Operations team

• Confidently discussing the content of peer reviews with physicians and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

• Previous experience in a healthcare and/or insurance environment is preferred

• Familiarity with technology-driven processes in a business setting

• Exceptional communication skills with a solid understanding of the company's business lines

• Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time effectively, and meet specific deadlines

• Proficiency in computer skills and typing is essential

• Capability to perform any necessary lifting, bending, traveling, etc., related to the job duties mentioned above

• Ability to sit for long periods and work on a computer

• Must provide and maintain their own internet services

• Ensuring a stable internet connection is a prerequisite for all remote work positions
