Peer Group Facilitator, Mechanical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Organize, prepare, and facilitate all assigned peer group meetings, which consist of two annual 2-day in-person sessions per group, as well as monthly virtual sessions lasting 1–2 hours.

• Intentionally craft each meeting agenda by introducing new topics, concepts, resources, or industry advancements that reflect the group's evolution and needs, followed by a smooth transition to member-led discussions and actions based on the insights gained.

• Effectively manage group dynamics in real-time by encouraging quieter members to share, guiding more dominant voices, fostering productive pauses, and transforming tension into learning opportunities.

• Maintain regular structured communication with each member between meetings, including follow-ups on previous commitments.

• Allocate consistent, structured time for researching advancements in the mechanical and general repair industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of operational experience in the independent automotive aftermarket.

• Proven history of operating, expanding, or transforming a mechanical shop or multi-shop business.

• Proficient understanding of shop financials, KPIs, technician productivity, service advisor performance, customer experience, and the practicalities of running an independent mechanical shop.

• Demonstrated experience in leading peer groups, mastermind groups, advisory boards, executive forums, or similar structured learning environments.

• Strong personal commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.

• Preferred: Certified Executive Coach (ICF, EMCC, or an equivalent recognized credential).

• Preferred: Familiarity with established peer advisory frameworks such as Vistage, EO, YPO forum protocols, or similar.
