Pedagogical Content Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Creation, testing, and refinement of computational rules in Python (using a symbolic rule-based approach) for the automatic tagging of grammatical, syntactic, and structural discrepancies in texts.

• Conduct error analysis of large language models (LLMs), assess the performance of text-analysis predictive models, and recommend ongoing enhancements.

• Analyze data using advanced spreadsheet tools to consolidate correction data, identify error trends, and generate reports on model performance.

• Evaluate essays and review current corrections in accordance with official exam board guidelines.

• Generate original essay topics and proposals that align with prevailing exam trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Languages, Linguistics, or a related discipline.

• Comprehensive, current understanding of the curricula and reference matrices for Brazil's primary entrance exams (such as ENEM, FUVEST, VUNESP, UNICAMP, PAS, etc.).

• Strong grasp of the structural characteristics of various text genres (such as argumentative essays, chronicles, letters, etc.).

• Demonstrated experience in evaluating essays according to the criteria set by official exam boards.

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python programming.

• Familiarity with a symbolic rule-based methodology for text processing.

• Insight into the functioning of Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Knowledge of version control practices using Git/GitHub.

• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, dynamic arrays, pivot tables, etc.) for analyzing data and metrics.
