P&C Insurance Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist members and clients by evaluating their requirements, promoting insurance products, and guiding them in selecting appropriate coverage.

• Generate quotes and issue insurance contracts.

• Monitor files, review renewals that necessitate special underwriting, and make necessary adjustments to contracts.

• Address information inquiries and modify contracts to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

• Establish business partnerships to foster referrals.

• Seek out, solicit, and cultivate lasting business relationships with members and clients.

• Market general insurance products and services through various distribution channels.

• Advocate for and sell property and casualty coverage to individual clients.

• Assess member/client requirements and create tailored solutions.

• Support both current and prospective members and clients.

• Represent the organization and assist in negotiating agreements with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• College diploma in a relevant field.

• At least two years of pertinent experience.

• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be taken into account.

• Proficiency in French is mandatory.

• Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize technology.

• Strong analytical capabilities and discipline-specific knowledge.

• Persuasive abilities to assist clients in selecting the most suitable coverage.

• Comfortable with technology.
