P&C Insurance Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to members and clients by assessing their needs, promoting insurance products, and aiding in the selection of coverage options.

• Prepare quotes and issue insurance policies accordingly.

• Follow up on cases, evaluate renewals that require specialized underwriting, and make necessary adjustments to contracts.

• Address information inquiries and modify contracts to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

• Cultivate business partnerships to generate referrals and expand networks.

• Actively prospect, solicit, and develop and sustain professional relationships with members and clients.

• Market general insurance products and services through various distribution channels based on the needs of members/clients and current strategies and practices.

• Advocate for and sell property and casualty coverage to individual clients.

• Assess member/client needs and create tailored solutions.

• Provide support to existing and prospective members and clients.

• Represent the organization and assist in negotiating agreements with clients.

• A college diploma in a relevant field.

• At least two years of pertinent experience.

• Alternative combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be taken into account.

• Proficiency in French is mandatory.

• Capable of quickly learning and effectively utilizing technology.

• Strong persuasive abilities to guide clients in selecting the appropriate coverage.

• Possess analytical skills and specialized knowledge in the discipline.

• Focused on customer service with strong interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable with technology and its applications.
