This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and manage the payroll system of the company, ensuring precision and adherence to federal and state regulations.
• Keep employee payroll records current, including updates for new hires, terminations, and any status changes.
• Accurately and promptly calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, and other withholdings.
• Collaborate with the human resources department to guarantee the correct implementation of policies and procedures concerning employee compensation.
• Generate and disseminate payroll reports and summaries for management, offering insights and suggestions for enhancing payroll operations.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing, ideally within the health and human services sector.
• Skilled in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with strong Excel capabilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Exceptional attention to detail and robust analytical abilities, with the capacity to manage sensitive and confidential information.
