This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of the Workday Payroll product throughout customer interactions.
• Collaborate with clients to gather, clarify, and document their business requirements.
• Configure Workday Payroll to meet the specific needs and operational contexts of customers.
• Clearly document solution decisions, enabling customers to maintain and support their environment post go-live.
• Oversee post-production support services for Payroll across a portfolio of clients.
• Act as the main point of contact and strategic advisor for client stakeholders, managing escalations, resolving complex challenges, and guiding clients through system updates and enhancements.
• Supervise daily support operations: prioritize tickets, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolutions in accordance with SLAs.
• Take ownership of Workday release management: review feature updates, evaluate client impact, and coordinate testing and deployment with client teams.
• Collaborate with clients to comprehend complex benefits structures, including union, non-union, and retiree populations governed by state and local regulations.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client processes and system configurations for improved efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Deliver end-user training and support throughout the implementation and post-implementation stages.
• Facilitate collaborative discovery sessions to document requirements and convert them into effective, compliant Workday configurations.
• Active Workday certification in Payroll and Core HCM is mandatory.
• Active certifications in Workday Time Tracking and/or Absence are highly preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of consulting experience in the Public Sector, specifically within state or local agencies.
• At least 2 years of experience with Workday Payroll, encompassing configuration, deployment, and post-production of Payroll and related modules.
• Over 1 year of experience providing post-implementation support for Workday Payroll, and preferably for Time Tracking and/or Absence modules.
• More than 1 year of experience leading troubleshooting, optimization, and maintenance efforts for Workday Payroll, and preferably Time Tracking and/or Absence modules.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Ability to work standard East Coast hours is essential.
