• Take ownership of and help shape the strategy for payment systems and financial infrastructure throughout the platform.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on payment architecture, integration with providers, onboarding processes, and transaction systems.
• Partner with external payment providers and platforms to enhance product capabilities as they evolve.
• Create user-friendly payment experiences that emphasize trust, clarity, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of user workflows to pinpoint friction points in onboarding, payments, payouts, and transaction visibility.
• Convert complex operational and financial requirements into well-defined product specifications and scalable systems.
• Weigh speed, risk, compliance, and user experience in product-related decision-making.
• Define metrics related to transaction success, onboarding conversion rates, operational efficiency, and payment adoption.
• Work collaboratively across product, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to drive successful execution.
• Typically possess 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, or platform-based products.
• Experience with payment processors, PSPs, merchant onboarding systems, or products related to financial infrastructure.
• Strong grasp of transaction flows, payment operations, onboarding experiences, or the design of financial workflows.
• Ability to distill complex technical systems into intuitive user experiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a talent for working across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated high ownership mindset, capable of working independently in dynamic environments.
• Experience with early-stage teams or in fast-paced startup settings.
• Strong intuition regarding product trust, reliability, operational workflows, and user behavior in financial products.
