Payment Processor Accounting Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Reconcile clients’ bank accounts.

• Reconcile clients’ suspense accounts and provide supporting inventory documentation.

• Manage daily inbound and outbound cash transactions for life and annuity products.

• Conduct daily suspense and bank matching activities.

• Comply with standard operating controls for audits.

• Troubleshoot, assist, resolve issues, and suggest process enhancements.

• Journalize adjustments or approved miscellaneous corrections.

• Ensure proper handling of sensitive information.

• Develop procedures and controls to comply with standard operating audits.

• Maintain the client’s standard level agreement.

• Prepare reports for unclaimed property.

• Ensure unclaimed property meets the client's specifications.

• Support tax reconciliation and remittances to federal and state agencies.

• Knowledge of the life and annuity insurance industry.

• Strong background in accounting.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Familiarity with accounting software packages.
