Payment Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Carry out daily payment transaction and reconciliation tasks.

• Adhere to a daily timetable to ensure all activities are finalized by the established deadlines.

• Oversee payment flows, conduct daily account reconciliations, and address any discrepancies.

• Engage in critical problem-solving when issues arise—identify the root cause and propose solutions.

• Respond promptly to emerging issues, summarizing facts and offering recommendations for swift resolution of important (real money) problems.

• Generate, maintain, and distribute internal and external reports, including support for KYC, security, and auditing processes.

• Collaborate closely with various teams within Taulia Trade Technology, Taulia, and other services and partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in payment operations, preferably in commercial payments.

• Proven knowledge of global B2B payment methods and tools.

• Demonstrated experience in setting up, initiating, and reconciling large volume payments.

• A degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business is required.

• Proficiency in using commercial banking tools and payment interfaces for creating, tracking, or resolving payment transactions.

• Experience meeting critical deadlines while adhering to a predefined schedule.

• Able to triage incoming issues and prioritize effectively.

• Comfortable working in a global business environment and familiar with cultural differences among customers, partners, and staff.

• Preferred: Background in financial services, accounting, trade finance, or payment operations.

• Intermediate skills in Excel (e.g., Vlookup, Index Match, Pivot Tables).

• Experience with tools for collecting, organizing, and analyzing substantial amounts of transactional data.
