This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Acting as the primary liaison for patients to ensure clear and effective communication.
β’ Working in collaboration with clinical teams to confirm insurance coverage and benefits prior to telehealth appointments.
β’ Aiding patients in comprehending their financial responsibilities and available payment options.
β’ Leveraging Zendesk to efficiently and professionally address patient billing inquiries.
β’ Engaging in audits to identify billing inconsistencies and trends that impact patient and inter-departmental billing.
β’ Contributing to cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing patient experiences and streamlining billing processes.
β’ Supporting patients in verifying their information, scheduling appointments, and updating Electronic Health Records (EHR).
β’ Overseeing intake procedures, which include handling healthcare and insurance forms, as well as collecting payments.
β’ Complying with organizational and regulatory standards to protect patient privacy and safety; ensuring the confidentiality of patient Protected Health Information (PHI).
β’ 2-5 years of experience in providing exceptional patient/customer service.
β’ 1-2 years of experience in billing (preferred).
β’ 2 years of experience using Zendesk.
β’ 2 years of experience with EMR systems (Athena preferred).
β’ 2 years of experience with Google Workplace (required).
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintaining a professional demeanor.
β’ A strong, dependable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace are required.
β’ Compensation = $23/hr, full-time non-exempt.
