This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Spearhead the creation and implementation of comprehensive multi-channel patient recruitment initiatives to achieve recruitment goals across various indications and regions.
• Formulate strategic digital marketing plans that align with study timelines, enrollment targets, patient demographics, and budget constraints.
• Lead the redesign of the ImmunityBio website, which includes crafting compliant site copy, selecting images, and optimizing navigation.
• Plan, initiate, and enhance paid media campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Search & Display, YouTube, Programmatic, and specialized patient communities and advocacy networks.
• Monitor campaign performance in real-time and continuously refine strategies based on key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost per lead (CPL), conversion rates (CR), qualified patient referrals, site engagement, and enrollment progress.
• Drive ongoing testing and optimization efforts, including A/B testing for creative assets, messaging, audience segmentation, and landing page experiences.
• Collaborate with internal analytics teams and external partners to create attribution models and patient journey reporting, providing actionable performance insights.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams and external agencies to produce compliant, patient-focused digital content, including advertising copy, visual materials, landing pages, and educational resources.
• Ensure that all educational content adheres to relevant regulatory, legal, privacy, and brand standards.
• Act as a strategic collaborator with Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Legal/Regulatory/PRC, and Patient Advocacy teams to align recruitment strategies with enrollment priorities, scientific integrity, and patient community outreach efforts.
• Manage relationships with media agencies, publishers, technology vendors, and recruitment partners to guarantee high-quality execution and performance outcomes.
• Negotiate media placements, pricing, and performance-based agreements when applicable.
• Oversee campaign budgets, forecasting, pacing, and resource distribution.
• Create and present regular executive-level performance reports, dashboards, and insights for internal stakeholders.
• Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities in patient education, marketing, digital patient recruitment, and engagement.
• Remain informed about digital trends, privacy regulations (such as HIPAA, GDPR), and evolving best practices in patient recruitment marketing.
• Contribute to wider corporate, clinical, and departmental initiatives through cross-functional projects and leadership involvement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years' experience in digital media, performance marketing, or growth marketing is required.
• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or clinical trial recruitment sectors is required.
• Proven experience in recruiting patients for clinical trials is required.
• Familiarity with patient advocacy organizations is preferred.
• A data-driven approach with the capacity to analyze performance metrics and respond accordingly.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Detail-oriented with robust project management skills.
• Comfortable operating in cross-functional, high-paced environments.
• Ability to merge creativity with regulatory requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
