This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct outbound calls to patients utilizing a client-supplied call list through the client's cloud-based phone system.
• Adhere to the client's approved script, scheduling guidelines, and call-handling protocols.
• Schedule appointments directly within the client's electronic health record and scheduling system.
• Accurately document the outcome of each call in the client's system.
• Professionally manage common objections and rescheduling requests.
• Refer any issues outside the script to the Team Lead.
• Achieve daily activity and quality standards established with the Team Lead.
• Arrange Annual Wellness Visits for established patients on behalf of the healthcare practice.
• Operate entirely within the client's systems via a secure virtual desktop.
• Refrain from providing medical, clinical, or insurance advice, and transfer such inquiries to the appropriate resources.
• Over 1 year of experience in outbound calling, appointment setting, patient access, or contact center roles.
• Complete focus is required during the shift.
• Excellent spoken English that is clear, neutral, and easily comprehensible.
• Friendly and patient demeanor over the phone.
• Comfortable communicating with U.S.-based adults, including senior patients.
• Proficient in accurate data entry while engaging in live conversation.
• Capability to follow a script and maintain compliance without deviation.
• Availability to commit to the full duration of the campaign without planned absences.
• Willingness to undergo HIPAA privacy and security training prior to commencing work.
• Agree to complete a background check before starting.
• Ability to work assigned shifts within the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. U.S. Central Time.
• A private and quiet workspace that complies with HIPAA regulations.
• Reliable computer that can run a remote virtual desktop session.
• Access to wired or stable broadband internet with sufficient upload speed for clear voice calls.
• Noise-cancelling USB headset.
• Contingency plan for power and internet outages.
• Ability to sign confidentiality and information security agreements.
• Compliance with restrictions on recording or sharing patient information.
• Access patient data only through the secure virtual desktop and only as necessary for scheduling.
• Must pass a background check.
• Strongly preferred: previous experience in U.S. healthcare.
• Strongly preferred: familiarity with cloud EHR systems like athenahealth or cloud phone platforms like Dialpad.
• Strongly preferred: experience with Medicare wellness visits or preventive-care outreach.
• Strongly preferred: extensive experience with high-volume manual dialing, exceeding 100 dials per day.
