Patient Intake Specialist, Mental Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Support older adults and their caregivers through the intake process with compassion, clarity, and professionalism, ensuring they feel cared for throughout the journey.

• Assist each new patient in navigating their path to care, from connecting with the appropriate therapist to ensuring they feel understood and confident at every stage.

• Be instrumental in someone’s initial steps towards improved mental health.

• Compassionate and articulate communicator. You engage with kindness, listen attentively, and make others feel comfortable – even in challenging or emotional discussions.

• Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented. You can manage multiple patients at various stages of the process and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

• Tech-savvy. You’re adept at learning tools such as Google Workspace, EHR platforms (e.g., Healthie), or CRMs like HubSpot, and you quickly adapt to new software.

• Aligned with our mission. You have a strong passion for enhancing care for older adults and are enthusiastic about contributing to someone’s journey towards better mental health.

• Experience appreciated, but not mandatory. You may have a background in healthcare, customer service, or administrative support – but what matters most is your organizational skills, compassion, and eagerness to develop.
