Patient Engagement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main inbound contact for patients, responding to calls promptly and professionally while using approved scripts and brand-specific greetings.

• Interact with patients through brand-approved communication channels.

• Schedule appointments following individual practice guidelines, provider preferences, and access regulations.

• Transform inbound inquiries into scheduled appointments while adhering to location-specific procedures.

• Provide patients with information regarding services, providers, locations, and subsequent steps (non-clinical).

• Address basic inquiries related to insurance and payment in accordance with practice policies.

• Ensure schedule integrity by rescheduling and optimizing open time slots.

• Accurately log interactions within PMS/CRM systems.

• Meet standards for call management, quality, responsiveness, and productivity.

• Refer non-standard requests or issues to the appropriate practice team.

• Carry out additional tasks in support of approved brands as directed by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree or higher is preferred.

• At least one (1) year of experience in a call center or dental front office setting.

• Proven capability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls (80+ interactions per day) while maintaining quality standards.

• Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn and navigate multiple software platforms simultaneously.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are clear and professional.

• Comfortable operating across various brands, time zones, and practice workflows.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, HIPAA-compliant work environment if working remotely.
