Patient Contact Center Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage a substantial volume of incoming calls from patients with professionalism and a positive attitude, while delivering outstanding, personalized customer service.

• Respond to inquiries by researching, locating, and providing pertinent information, including any promotional or new product details when applicable.

• Direct customer requests to the appropriate departments as necessary.

• Ensure accurate record-keeping in the Patient Contact Center and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) databases by entering information promptly and keeping all files current.

• Record all call details in accordance with standard operating procedures.

• Uphold patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of procedures, protocols, and office policies.

• Conduct outbound calls as requested.

• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written, verbal, and listening abilities.

• Previous experience in a Call Center or Customer Service setting.

• Proficient in essential computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, etc.); adept at data entry and typing.

• Familiarity with customer service principles, call center technology, and administrative processes; strong decision-making and organizational skills.

• Outstanding customer service capabilities and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Residency in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or Massachusetts is required.
