Call Center Pharmacy Technician, Florida License Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Proactively manage medication refill processes, including data entry and pharmacy claim adjudication.

• Conduct outbound calls to patients for refill requests and ensure their completion.

• Address, resolve, and triage incoming inquiries effectively.

• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists and/or clinicians as necessary.

• Identify medications that require special storage or handling, including hazardous and refrigerated items.

• Organize, manage, and update pertinent data using database applications.

• Offer insights and recommendations on operational challenges, productivity enhancement, and quality standards.

• Recognize trends and propose solutions by recommending and implementing improvements.

• Engage actively in process enhancement initiatives.

• Serve as a valuable business partner to stakeholders across the organization.

• Safeguard the organization's integrity by maintaining confidentiality of information.

• Enhance knowledge through participation in educational opportunities, reviewing professional literature, and maintaining professional networks.

• Demonstrate flexibility in shift timings: standard hours typically range from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM but may vary based on time zones and clinic operating hours (standard hours will be discussed during hiring, and overtime or weekend hours may be required as needed).

• Additional duties and/or responsibilities may be assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician with claim adjudication.

• Preferred experience includes managing refills, working in a specialty pharmacy, collaborating with clinical care teams, and remote work, although not mandatory.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
